A new trailer for Helluva Boss Season 2 revealed the release plan for the upcoming episodes. Episode 8, titled “The Full Moon,” is set to premiere sometime in May 2024.
The trailer also unveiled the titles and release months for the rest of the season:
- Episode 9 – “Apology Tour:” June
- Episode 10 – “Ghostfuckers:” October
- Episode 11 – “Mastermind:” November
- Episode 12 – “Sinsmas:” December
Slight Delay Explained
In an interview with The Direct in February, Helluva Boss star and co-writer Brandon Rogers had initially stated that Episode 8 was scheduled for a “March or April” release. The slight delay to May is likely due to the flexibility of releasing on YouTube compared to the rigidity of streaming platforms.
Future of Helluva Boss
Four-Season Story Planned
As the Hazbin Hotel series gained mainstream popularity on Amazon Prime Video, fans wondered about the future of its spin-off, Helluva Boss. However, creator Vivienne “Vivziepop” Medrano confirmed in May 2023 that she has a “four-season story” planned for the animated series.
“Helluva Boss is a very set four-season story. We are very far from the end but very determined to tell it one way or another.”
Creator’s Enthusiasm
Both Medrano and her fellow creatives have expressed enthusiasm for the Hazbin Hotel spin-off, suggesting a bright future for the show. Co-writer Brandon Rogers praised Helluva Boss for its “farm to table” nature, free from producer interference.
“Helluva Boss, I am always going to have a sweet spot for it because it is the show that has zero producer interference. It just goes straight from farm to table, creator to viewer.”
While no official announcement has been made for Helluva Boss Season 3, fans can expect it to come eventually, along with Hazbin Hotel Season 2.
